Manchester United forward Antony has seen further allegations tendered against him to the court of public opinion by his ex-girlfriend, Gabriela Cavallin, in the ongoing domestic abuse investigation against him.
Antony and Cavallin were together for just over a year and separated in 2022. Cavallin, who is a DJ and social media influencer in Brazil, alleged that the former AFC Ajax man was abusive towards her during their relationship.
She had tendered significant evidence in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and in Manchester, England, alleging that the forward had abused her and threatened her life in both regions.
The investigations have been ongoing for a few months now while Antony has continued to fulfill his duties as a Manchester United player. Cavallin has now brought forth new evidence to the Manchester law enforcement as she continues to seek justice.
The mother of one, who also claimed that her child, fathered by Antony, was threatened during one of their skirmishes, claimed in the new allegations that the 23-year-old also threatened her while she was pregnant for the child and damaged her breast implants in a physical altercation.
She backed it up with evidence which was published by Brazilian outlet UOL recently. The DJ, in her latest expose, claims that she was first attacked by the footballer in June 2022 while she was pregnant and on holiday in Brazil.
She also says that on January 15 this year, Antony attacked her, causing her breast implants to get ruined. “I don’t remember exactly who the fight was about, but it was someone I had been with years ago,” she told UOL. “He punched me in the chest and my silicone [implant] turned over.
“Then I came to Brazil for surgery to change the prosthesis. He said: ‘I didn’t mean to hurt you, it was accidental, it wasn’t a punch, I just pushed you, I just held you against the wall.'”
She claims that Antony put her in a car, attacked her repeatedly and threatened to throw her out the vehicle which was moving at high speed.
She then stated that the player alternated between moments of affection and aggression, which made her confused and unsure about calling it quits.
UOL has been Cavallin’s go-to source to get her evidence and allegations out into the court of public opinion. They had reached out to Antony when the first batch of evidence was presented against him but the player and his environment declined to comment.
In the latest turn of events, Antony has come out to deny all allegations, claiming that he is completely innocent but that did not stop Brazil from dropping him from the national team.
