Kolo Muani to stay with Juventus for Club World Cup

Randal Kolo Muani has officially confirmed that he will continue representing Juventus during the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup, set to take place in the United States from mid-June to mid-July. The French forward, who arrived on loan from Paris Saint-Germain during the January transfer window, was initially scheduled to return to his parent club at the end of June.

The original agreement between PSG and Juventus did not include an option to make the move permanent, which left Kolo Muani’s future uncertain as the season approached its close. However, due to Juventus’ participation in the Club World Cup, both clubs were required to come to an arrangement to allow the player to remain in Turin for the tournament.

Extension deal confirmed ahead of tournament

As one of Italy’s two representatives at the tournament, alongside Inter, Juventus secured a short-term extension for Kolo Muani to stay with the squad through the summer competition. The new arrangement was settled and finalized over the weekend, ensuring the 25-year-old will be available for selection during the prestigious FIFA event.

Following the announcement of the extension, Kolo Muani expressed his satisfaction with his current experience at the club. Speaking after France’s 2-0 victory over Germany in the Nations League third-place match on Sunday, he underlined his desire to stay with the Bianconeri beyond the temporary deal.

Player expresses desire for long-term stay

“I’m very happy to have had more time on the pitch, both with France and Juventus,” Kolo Muani said in a post-match interview with L’Équipe. “They’ve made me feel welcome and I’m really enjoying my time here. I hope to continue with them.”

The striker also confirmed his inclusion in the Juventus squad traveling to the United States for the Club World Cup, signaling his ongoing commitment to the club while discussions about a longer-term future remain open.
