Cunha open to Wolves’ move

It has not been an easy spell for Cunha at Atletico Madrid. The forward has been itching to leave the Metropolitano for a while due to limited opportunities at the club. Cunha joined Atletico from Hertha Berlin 15 months ago.

The chances of leaving Atletico in January are high as Diego Simeone has shown in action that Cunha is not a part of his plans. Simeone is open to the sale as he seeks to create room for others.

According to talkSPORT, Wolves are ready to sign Cunha on an initial loan deal but retain an option to buy permanently in the summer for £40 million.
