PSG made a rash of signings with the signing of Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos and Giorginio Wijnaldum. They boasted the trident of Messi, Mbappe and Neymar, with the world expecting domination. The team under Mauricio Pochettino failed to hit the heights.

Rumours have been rife of the club parting ways with the Brazilian, but nothing has come of it yet. Many failed Champions League exploits and injuries contrived to reduce Neymar to tears on numerous occasions. Perhaps a new lease of life elsewhere would give him a chance to lift himself again. A Chelsea move would not be a bad idea as he is already used to Thomas Tuchel, who once managed PSG.
