Milan Proposes Okafor for Abraham

AC Milan are intensifying their efforts to secure Roma striker Tammy Abraham. The Rossoneri have reportedly begun contemplating a player exchange, with Noah Okafor potentially moving to the capital as part of the deal. Head coach Paulo Fonseca views the 26-year-old English forward as an ideal addition to his squad, which recently saw the arrival of Alvaro Morata. Fonseca aims to strengthen his attack with two distinct centre forwards, providing more options and depth.

“Tammy Abraham is seen as the perfect fit for Milan’s attacking lineup,” sources within the club indicate. “His physicality and goal-scoring prowess complement Morata’s playing style, offering a versatile strike force.”

Roma’s Willingness to Sell

Roma are open to negotiating the sale of Abraham in the coming weeks, having recently acquired Artem Dovbyk from Girona as his replacement. The Giallorossi have set a price tag of approximately €25-30 million for the English striker. Milan are keen to reduce the financial outlay by including a player in the exchange, with Luka Jovic and Davide Calabria previously considered as potential makeweights.

“Roma are looking to streamline their squad and balance their books following Dovbyk’s arrival,” said a club insider. “Abraham’s departure would be financially beneficial, and Milan’s interest has provided a timely opportunity.”

Okafor as a Trade Option

According to today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport, Milan have devised a fresh strategy to secure Abraham this month. The plan involves offering 24-year-old Swiss winger Noah Okafor to Roma. Okafor impressed in his debut season with the Rossoneri, netting six goals and providing three assists in 36 appearances. This new proposal is seen as a viable option to meet Roma’s valuation while bolstering Milan’s attacking options.

“Noah Okafor’s inclusion in the deal makes sense for both clubs,” analysts suggest. “For Milan, it means acquiring a key target without a significant cash outlay, while Roma would gain a promising winger who can make an immediate impact.”

Strategic Moves and Future Prospects

Milan’s interest in Abraham underscores their ambition to compete at the highest levels domestically and in Europe. By adding a player of Abraham’s caliber, Milan aims to enhance their offensive capabilities and provide Fonseca with the tactical flexibility he desires.

“This transfer window is crucial for Milan’s long-term strategy,” noted a football pundit. “Securing Abraham would be a statement of intent, signaling their readiness to challenge for titles.”

The coming weeks will be critical as negotiations continue and both clubs aim to finalize a deal that aligns with their respective goals. With the new season approaching, Milan and Roma are poised for significant changes that could shape their campaigns ahead.
