Harry Kane’s future up in the air, Man United plotting move for England forward

Harry Kane has been told that Man United would be a perfect place for him if he leaves Tottenham. The England striker has a contract that expires in 2024.

Perhaps the only clout Manchester United have in attracting players is money. As a sporting project, the Red Devils are washed out. The Old Trafford side has not been able to attract world-class stars as a culmination of poor decisions has seen the club spiral down from its Olympian height.

With Ten Hag having running issues with Cristiano Ronaldo, amid the player seeking a way out of the trap Manchester United has become, the Red Devils would need to sign another striker. There is no proven striker at the club, with Anthony Martial injured and Marcus Rashford unable to hit a barn door from six yards.

Manchester United have started scouting for players with a few names linked to them, but nothing has yet to come off it. The latest name linked to United is Harry Kane. The Tottenham striker is the most proven in the league and is some distance away from Erling Haaland. Perhaps this might be one of those well-concocted jokes from Old Trafford.

United a perfect place for Harry Kane?
There have been concerted efforts to make United smell like roses, but it is an arduous task selling a depreciated product. It is what United have become, as every day is a new drama. From the ensuing battle with Cristiano Ronaldo, the attempts to whitewash the Red Devils is nothing but ghoulish.

Could Harry Kane be leaving Tottenham any time soon? Reports suggest a move to Manchester United would be perfect. The England captain has a contract with the north London club expiring in 2024. Harry Kane has not shown an indication of extending the contract.

The Tottenham striker was in links to Bayern Munich and Chelsea recently amid suggestions that Spurs do not have him in their long-term plans. Enrico De Lellis claims the north London side is interested in signing prolific Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen from Napoli. The claims by Lellis suggest that Spurs do not believe that Kane would not hang around for long with the north London side.

A game of musical chairs by two failing clubs
Since the departure of Jose Mourinho from Manchester United, the Red Devils have not come close to winning any trophy. The club has become a caricature of itself. Attempting to sign Harry Kane is nothing but an attempt to make a bad situation look beautiful.

While Man United seeks to sign Harry Kane, Tottenham is interested in Victor Osimhen as cover, but both deals are in jeopardy already. Osimhen is one of the most exciting strikers in Europe currently, and it would take some convincing to let the Nigerian leave the Diego Maradona stadium. The Tottenham project does not look like what Osimhen would want to be a part of, considering the level Napoli are right now.

Harry Kane is a proven striker, and throughout his illustrious career, he has not won any team trophy. The England captain would want a club that brightens his chances of landing a title. It is something Man United cannot guarantee. Perhaps Kane should consider Bayern Munich or Chelsea instead of the game of musical chairs between Man United and Tottenham.
