Cristiano Ronaldo received an expensive Jacob and Co timepiece to celebrate his move to Al-Nassr. The Portugal international is to earn £ 175m a year while playing for the Saudi club.
Cristiano Ronaldo is undoubtedly a star whose fame goes beyond football. Despite his abilities on the pitch waning, the Portugal international still maintains his star status.
The former Real Madrid forward did not enjoy a successful second coming at Manchester United. Despite being their top scorer in the first season of his return, he fell out of favour with the club and eventually eased out. Ronaldo also fell out with his agent Jorge Mendes for failing to land him a top club in Europe.
The story of Ronaldo is not over yet, but the new chapter has taken a different dimension. After leaving Europe, Ronaldo landed a lucrative deal with the top Saudi club Al-Nassr, and he has succeeded in turning eyes towards the Middle Eastern country. Followers of the Portuguese are now following the Saudi Pro League with keen interest. Recently he received an expensive timepiece to celebrate his new contract.
Ronaldo receives a Jacob and Co timepiece
Jacob & Co. diamond watches are beautifully and perfectly blended interwoven gems in carefully crafted designer dials. They are undoubtedly one of the most expensive timepieces on the planet. Several big names own the wristwatch. Some celebrities that wear a Jacob and Co. timepiece include DJ Khaled, Drake, Floyd Mayweather, Jay Z, Naomi Campbell, 50 Cent, Chris Rock and David Beckham.
Following his £175m-a-year move to Al-Nassr, Ronaldo became the latest owner of the timepiece. The Portuguese icon owns a £5 million collection and has added the 338-gemstone. The unique £630,000 watch was a present to the former Juventus forward in recognition of his money-spinning move to Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr.
Playing in the less-fancied Saudi Pro League has perks, especially if you’re a big name like Ronaldo. The Portuguese icon secured a famous move to Al-Nassr in the winter after a tell-all interview with Piers Morgan that rattled the hierarchy at Old Trafford. The move came after an unsuccessful outing at the World Cup.
The timepiece presented to Ronaldo
The Jacob and Co. wristwatch comes in different shades, sizes and prices. It is a statement wristwatch. You’ll have to be a star or multi-millionaire to own one. Ronaldo falls into any of these categories.

The watch contains tsavorite, believed to be the most expensive and valuable garnet. It is more sparkly than emeralds and 200 times rarer.
