Toney has attracted interest from both the Saudi Pro League and several English teams. BBC Sport has confirmed that Brentford recently rejected a £35 million offer for the striker from Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli.
Addressing the media, Frank said Toney could either be part of the matchday squad for the upcoming game against Liverpool or could miss out entirely. “He’s trained well all week and with the right mindset. He could play, or he could be left out,” Frank explained. The situation regarding Toney’s future, he emphasized, is still very much undecided.

Since joining Brentford from Peterborough United in 2020, Toney has been a key player for the Bees, netting 20 goals in 33 Premier League appearances during the 2022-23 campaign.
