Inter Milan monitoring Dybala contract situation at Juventus

Paulo Dybala and Juventus have been in a back and forth for almost two seasons concerning the Argentine’s contract situation but it looks to be coming to an end this season.

Serie A leaders and defending champions Inter Milan have been reported to have offered Paulo Dybala a five-year contract with hopes of luring him away from Juventus this summer.

The Argentine forward is in the final stretch of his contract at the Turin club and the talks continue to stall. His agent’s fees as well as the player’s contract demands, Juventus’ fears about his fitness and their stubborn stance on their modified offer have been stalling the talks.

It was also reported that back in October, Dybala agreed to Juventus’ four-year renewal offer for an €8 million-per-annum salary. The Argentine als spoke to the media concerning the renewal at the time.

“We hope to close soon for the renewal. This is everyone’s desire to complete the negotiations,” he said. “They know that on my part, there is a great desire to stay in Turin. I know that the management also wants to extend my contract and we have started talking again.

“We hope that everything will be over soon and good news can arrive for everyone. I am very confident.”

Dybala suffered an injury in that time, leading to Juventus developing cold feet and trying to reduce the contract length and salary offer. Dybala and his agent refused to further stall a decision on his renewal.

However, Inter’s five-year offer of €37.5 million (per Gazzetta dello Sport) could prompt Juventus to seek out a solution, as reports claim that Juventus is still very interested in keeping Dybala.

Football Italia reports that Dybala’s agent has a meeting with the Bianconeri this week. Both parties will try to find an agreement, but with both their unshakeable stances, the possibility of Dybala ending his seven-year association with Juventus is more than likely.

Juventus transfer news: Players who could leave in the summer

Elsewhere, a number of Bianconeri players could be on their way out of the Allianz Stadium at the end of the summer.

Dybala is just one of a number of players whose contracts are up in the summer at Juventus. And like Dybala, they all have offers waiting for them.

Federico Bernardeschi and Moise Kean are both being courted by AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain respectively, and Eurosport reports that both players want to understand where manager Massimiliano Allegri places them in the squad before making their decisions.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are offering Bernardeschi a new three-year contract worth €2.5 million-a-year plus bonuses. He currently earns a €4m salary and is demanding a five-year extension.

Meanwhile, Calciomercato says Kean is wanted by PSG as a backup striker, believing they can get him firing again the way he was before returning to Juventus’ at the beginning of the season.

Andrej Kramaric of Bundesliga club Hoffenheim is being looked at by the Turin side as a potential signing as well, which could mean Kean’s sure departure from Turin in the summer.
