Kylian Mbappe wants to leave PSG over the club’s betrayal

Kylian Mbappe is keen to leave PSG as early as January as he feels betrayed by the club. The France international says the club did not fulfil the promises they made to him before he signed a new contract.

They say you need a long spoon to dine with the devil. Perhaps it suffices to say you can’t eat your cake and have it. Things are not alright at the Parc des Princes, with the project by the Qatari owners threatening to burst. Things are falling apart, and the centre cannot hold.

Paris Saint-Germain went the length of the world to stop Kylian Mbappe from joining Real Madrid in the summer. The France international was a free agent and could decide where to go, but the Qatari owners promised him the keys to the kingdom, and under the guidance of his mother, Mbappe chose to remain in Paris.

All that glitters is not gold, as promises PSG made nothing but a screensaver. The sheen is off, and the Frenchman says PSG sold him a dud. With the pledges failing to materialize, Mbappe is screaming foul and now wants out of the club. Reports claim he wants to leave as early as January.

Mbappe wants out of PSG

Things are no longer at ease at the Parc des Princes. The latest reports suggest that Kylian Mbappe wants to leave Paris Saint-Germain. The desires of the France international come just a few months after penning a new deal at the club. According to the reports, Mbappe wants to leave the Paris giants in January over a broken relationship with the club.

Marca reports that Mbappe has told the PSG hierarchy he feels betrayed and would like to leave the club. Feelers coming out of the Parc des Princes suggest that the club is willing to grant him his wish. In a twist, PSG claim no offers from Real Madrid would be entertained.

PSG still have a fixation over Real Madrid from the latest report. They hold the aces in the latest Mbappe saga and are not keen to give in to his every demand. Liverpool has shown interest in signing Mbappe in the past, and the PSG owners would prefer to sell him to the England club.

Other clubs interested in signing the 23-year-old are Manchester United and Chelsea, but Todd Boehly has not shied away from the prospect of signing big-name players.

Of betrayals and broken promises

Real Madrid waited many years to have the opportunity to bring Kylian Mbappe to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. When the time came, Mbappe, who may have made several promises to the Spanish side, reneged and chose money over a better-run club.

It is on record that Mbappe claimed he wanted to go to Real Madrid, but when the time came to make his dream come through, the lure of Qatari money was too tempting to resist. Technically the first betrayal is from Mbappe to Real Madrid. PSG may just be paying him in his coin.

The bridge between Real Madrid and PSG has broken. The die is cast, and no one knows whether Los Blancos will ignore the stubbornness of PSG and still make an offer for Mbappe. Many believe that Real Madrid should not make an offer for Mbappe, but the prospect of signing a talent like the 23-tear-old may be too good to resist.

With a hurt ego, PSG would prefer to sell to any club but Real Madrid, meaning Mbappe may have to take a detour before achieving his dream of playing for the Spanish giants.
