Cristiano Ronaldo hits another career milestone after four-goal display for Al Nassr

Cristiano Ronaldo scored four goals for Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League on Thursday to reach the career milestone of 500 club goals.

The Portugal international, who celebrated his 38th birthday on Sunday, was unstoppable against hosts Al Wehda, netting four times in 30 minutes to lead his team to a 4-0 win.

Ronaldo has scored 503 league goals for five clubs in five different top-flight leagues. He bagged 103 for Manchester United, 311 for Real Madrid, 81 for Juventus, three for Sporting Lisbon, and now has five for Al Nassr.

The five-time Ballon D’Or winner signed a 2-1/2 year deal with Al Nassr in December, reported to be worth over 200 million euros ($216.54 million), and was appointed captain of the team.

Al Nassr top the standings after 16 games, level on 37 points with second-placed Al Shabab.

Ronaldo scored four goals in a big display for the Saudi side

Cristiano Ronaldo – The footballing phenom, arguably the best footballer to ever kick the round-leather ball, has once again set the stage alight, in a new country, with four goals in a single game.

Amazingly, he achieved this feat in just four minutes, in just his third appearance for the Saudi Arabia club during their match against Al-Wehda on Thursday. He had to wait for his Al-Nassr debut after serving a two-match suspension from his time at Manchester United.

He made his official debut against Ettifaq FC at the end of January but scored no goals. In his very next game, against Al-Fateh, he found the net in stoppage time of that game from the penalty spot for his first official Al-Nassr goal to help his new side clinch a point, after having missed several gilt-edged chances and having a goal chalked off for offside.

The goal against Al-Nassr seems to be the prelude for greater things because, in the very next match against Al-Wehda, he banged in 4 goals of different varieties. He opened his goalscoring account in the second half, with a well-taken finish from inside the box with his left foot.

He scored his second with a deft touch and a well-placed finish through the legs of the opposing goalkeeper. He scored the third with a penalty kick and saved the best for the last, which reminded us of his glory days and blistering pace, as he raced past the defense.

His fourth goal marks the first time since March 2018 when Ronaldo was still playing for Real that he’s scored four in a league match. He managed the feat seven times with Real, while also scoring four in the Champions League back in 2015 against Malmo.

At this juncture, it is safe to say, the Saudi league is on for a treat from the best that ever was!
