Scottland head coach Norman Mapeza has praised forward Khama Billiat following his impressive performance in a 3-0 victory over FC Hunters on Sunday.
Billiat, 34, scored twice to lead Scottland to a comfortable win. He opened the scoring in the 20th minute with a composed finish before adding his second goal shortly after the restart, highlighting his growing influence within the squad.
The experienced winger also contributed an assist, setting up Walter Musona for Scottland’s third goal to cap a dominant team performance
Speaking to the media after the match on Sunday, Mapeza commended Billiat’s overall contribution, describing him as a complete player with valuable experience and intelligence on the pitch.
“He has the intelligence and understanding of the game. His work ethic and consistency are important for the team,” Mapeza said.
The result lifts Scottland into second position on the league table with eight points, while FC Hunters remain without a win and drop to 14th place.
