Betterbrands injects US$100,000 sponsorship into Kwekwe United

Kwekwe United has unveiled Betterbrands as its sponsor for the 2026 season, receiving a US$100,000 cash injection as the club prepares for life in the Central Region Division One league.

The sponsorship deal was officially announced on Saturday evening, where representatives from Betterbrands confirmed their support for the Midlands-based side.

Kwekwe United will compete in the Central Region Division One league this season after being relegated from the Premier Soccer League last year. The club is hoping the new sponsorship package will strengthen its preparations as it aims for an immediate return to the top flight.

As part of the sponsorship agreement, Betterbrands handed over US$100,000 in cash to the club. The package is also expected to include additional logistical support.

The team is also set to receive a new bus and three vehicles in the coming week to improve player transport and operational mobility as part of the package.

Meanwhile the club also announced major changes to their Technical team with former Dynamos and Mamelodi Sundowns forward Curtberth Malajila appointed as team manager.
