Medical reports confirmed that the 20-year-old suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his left knee. This type of injury requires surgery, which is expected to take place in the coming days, and will likely keep Circati out of action for around six months.

The injury occurred during a routine training drill earlier today. Circati was immediately examined by the club’s medical staff, and initial tests quickly confirmed the worst-case scenario—a complete tear of the ACL. Given the nature of the injury, the road to recovery will be long and challenging, typically involving months of rehabilitation after surgery.
This injury comes at a crucial time for both Circati and Parma, as the defender had been an integral part of the team’s early-season performances. Circati had appeared in five matches this term, contributing to Parma’s campaigns in both Serie A and the Coppa Italia.
