Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Napoli’s sporting director, Giovanni Manna, met with Neres’ agent, Giuliano Bertolucci, making significant progress in contract talks. Despite this advancement, no agreement has been reached between the two clubs, as Benfica is firm on a transfer fee of €25 million.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, personal terms have already been settled between Neres and Napoli. The player’s desire to move to Italy and secure a regular spot in the team is evident. The only hurdle remaining is for the clubs to agree on the transfer fee.
