Milan expresses interest in Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior

AC Milan has reignited their interest in Jakub Kiwior, the Polish international defender currently with Arsenal. The 24-year-old, now participating in Euro 2024 with his national team, has caught the attention of Milan, making him a significant target for their summer transfer plans, as reported by Calciomercato.com’s Daniele Longo.

This isn’t the first time Milan has shown interest in Kiwior. The club initially reached out about a possible loan move in January. Now, transfer expert Geoffrey Moncada is keen to secure Kiwior as new coach Paulo Fonseca’s inaugural signing. Milan has once again opened discussions with Fair Sport, the agency representing Kiwior.

Arteta’s appreciation and Kiwior’s italian experience

Mikel Arteta, the Arsenal manager, has been pleased with Kiwior’s progress over the past season. Kiwior made 20 appearances in the Premier League, scoring once and demonstrating his value to the team. His previous experience in Italy, where he spent 18 months on loan at Spezia, makes him an attractive prospect for Milan.

Milan hopes to convince Arsenal to let go of their Polish defender, banking on his familiarity with Serie A. The Rossoneri are determined to strengthen their squad by adding Kiwior, leveraging his proven abilities and experience in Italian football.
